Hello there, friend!

Welcome to my website, I’m grateful to share with you a few things about myself and my journey to interior design. I hope you’ll feel inspired to reach out and see if we might make a great team!

-I grew up in East Lansing, spent summers in the cool 70’s log cabin my dad built outside of Cadillac, and moved to Benzie county where my mom grew up in 2024.

-My mom was an English and Social Studies teacher, but early in college at MSU she was an interior design major! I grew up in her ‘dream home’, which was a one-story pink brick Cape Cod in a great school district. Too bad small children foiled most of her ‘magazine home’ dreams! She taught me to draw floor plans as a kid, and inspired my love of design. She gave me my first design project at around age 7, with that lavender paint.

-I got serious about design when starting my first Airbnb in 2019: that log brick cabin my dad built! It had a cool 70’s aesthetic (orange counter tops!!), but a pretty tired interior. I re-furnished and re-decorated and it remains my favorite, and a guest favorite, property.

-From there I bought, renovated, and managed several more Airbnb’s (5 total), and also started flipping homes down in Austin, TX where I lived for 5 years. I have designed and overseen complete renovations, managed contractors, sold and managed properties, and have decided to put all my focus on my most favorite part: making spaces beautiful.

-I consider northern Michigan my forever home, and am excited to work with clients who also love this place! I am deeply inspired by our incredible natural wonderland, our seasons, and our charming small towns. How lucky are we?!?
